Syllabus Released: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially released the Syllabus for the post of Inspector, Forest Protection Force. The Written Test is an Objective Type examination of 120 Marks to be completed in 2 Hours (120 Minutes).

The JKSSB Inspector FPF Written Test 2026 consists of 10 units as per the official syllabus. The unit-wise marks distribution is as follows:

Key Points: Mathematics and General Science carry the highest marks at 20 marks each (33.33% combined). All remaining 8 units carry equal weightage of 10 marks each. The exam is Objective Type (MCQ) on OMR sheets. Unit-I (Environment & Ecology) is unique to this post and requires special preparation. The Computer unit includes Forest Department specific applications like KMZ files and Geo-tagging which are rare in other JKSSB exams.
