RIICO Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
Essential Qualification
A. Senior Secondary (12th Pass) from a recognized Board or equivalent.
And
B. One of the following computer qualifications:
- “O” Level or Higher Level Certificate Course conducted by DOEACC under Department of Electronics, Government of India
- Certificate Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) by NIELIT
- COPA / DPCS certificate under National/State Council of Vocational Training
- Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Computer Science/Computer Applications from recognized University/Institution
- Senior Secondary with Computer Science/Computer Application as a subject
- Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from recognized Polytechnic
- Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) conducted by VMOU Kota
- Any equivalent or higher qualification recognized by Government
Qualification must be possessed on or before the last date of application.
Citizenship
Candidate must be:
- Citizen of India
OR - Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
OR - Tibetan refugee (came before 1 January 1962 for permanent settlement)
OR - Person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with intention of permanent settlement
Candidates under special categories must possess eligibility certificate issued by Government of India.
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: Less than 40 Years
Age will be calculated as on the last date of application.
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS (Rajasthan State) Male: 5 Years
- General Category Women: 5 Years
- SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS (Rajasthan State) Women: 10 Years

Examination Fee
For Junior Assistant Post:
- General / Creamy Layer OBC/MBC: ₹1000
- Non-Creamy Layer OBC/MBC & EWS (Rajasthan): ₹750
- SC/ST & Specially Abled Persons (Rajasthan): ₹500
Fee once paid will not be refunded.
RIICO Selection Procedure 2026
The selection process consists of:
Written Examination
- Part 1: 180 Marks
- Part 2: 270 Marks
Interview: 100 Marks
Total Marks: 550 Marks
Candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks in written examination will be eligible for proficiency test. Maximum five times the number of vacancies will be called for the proficiency test.
