The University of Kashmir (KU), has released Admission Notification No. 09 of 2026 inviting online applications from eligible candidates for admission to various Diploma and Certificate Programmes/Courses for the academic session 2026. The programmes on offer include 2-Year Diploma in Calligraphy, 1-Year Diploma in French/German/Russian, 1-Year Certificate Courses in French/German/Russian/Sanskrit, 9-Month Certificate Course in Hindi and 6-Month Certificate Course in Modern Spoken Persian. The online application window is open from 11 May 2026 to 20 May 2026. No extension shall be granted beyond the notified dates. Candidates must apply online at kashmiruniversity.net.

Note: Fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation of provisional admission. Candidates must check the “Application Status” on their dashboard after 3 days of submission – it must show “Fee Received”. If not updated, a query must be posted online or the IT Cell must be contacted by 22 May 2026.
Must have passed the qualifying examination (10th / 12th) from the J&K Board of School Education or any other recognized Board.

b) Provisional Candidates
Candidates whose result is awaited or who have appeared / shall be appearing in the qualifying examination (10th / 12th) can apply provisionally on their own risk and responsibility.
Provisional candidates must fulfil all eligibility conditions including acquiring the minimum required percentage of marks on or before 22 May 2026.
How to Apply for KU Diploma & Certificate Admission 2026?
Visit kashmiruniversity.net or kashmiruniversity.ac.in and click on the “Admissions” link.
Read the Important Instructions for Registration and Submission of Form carefully before proceeding.
Click on “Register as Student” and create an account. Note the Username and Password for future reference.
After successful registration, log in and enter your Registration Number, then click “Next”.
Enter all required details and upload your latest passport-size photograph, then click “Next”.
Review the form carefully. If any correction is needed, click “Previous”, make changes and then click “Submit”.
Pay the non-refundable online fee of ₹550/- through the payment gateway.
Take a printout of the application form and note the Form Number for future reference.
After 3 days of submission, log in and verify that “Application Status” shows “Fee Received”. If not updated, post a query through the online dashboard.
