The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for admission to M.Sc. Nursing Courses – 2026 in Government and Private Colleges/Institutions of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The selection will be made through a Common Entrance Test (CET) to be conducted by the Board in offline mode at Jammu and Srinagar centres simultaneously.
The online application window opens on 08 May 2026 at 11:00 AM and the last date to apply is 21 May 2026 (Midnight). The date of the Common Entrance Test will be notified separately on jkbopee.gov.in.

JKBOPEE M.Sc. Nursing 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Domicile Requirement
- Candidate must be a Domicile of UT of J&K or UT of Ladakh.
- For candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, the ST certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as a Domicile Certificate.
Educational Qualification
- Must have passed B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
- The qualifying degree must be from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Registration Requirement
- Must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwifery (R.N.R.M.) or equivalent with any State/UT Nursing Registration Council.
Work Experience Requirement
- B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing candidates: Minimum one year of work experience after B.Sc. Nursing.
- Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing candidates: Minimum one year of work experience before or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
Medical Fitness
- Candidate must be medically fit.
