Eligibility Criteria for JKBOPEE Paramedical Diploma 2026
A. 12th Based Paramedical Diploma Courses
To be eligible for admission to 12th based Paramedical Diploma Courses, a candidate must fulfil all of the following conditions:
Domicile: Must be a domicile of UT of J&K or UT of Ladakh as the case may be. For candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, an ST certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as a Domicile Certificate.
Age Limit: Must not have crossed 35 years of age as on 01-01-2026.
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized University or Board with Science subjects.
Medical Fitness: Must be medically fit.
Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in Class 12 (10+2) examination 2026 can also apply, provided they qualify the 12th class examination on or before the date of declaration of the result of the Common Entrance Test or on or before the date of counselling as notified by the Board. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of candidature ab-initio.
B. Medical Record Technician (MRT) Course – SKIMS Only
For the MRT course offered exclusively at SKIMS, the eligibility conditions are as follows:
Domicile: Must be a domicile of UT of J&K or UT of Ladakh. For candidates of UT of Ladakh, ST certificate from Competent Authority shall be treated as Domicile Certificate.

Note: If the Board does not conduct the entrance test, then selection of eligible candidates will be made based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (12th Class).
Examination Centres
The Common Entrance Test will be conducted simultaneously at the following centres:

- Baramulla
- Leh
In case of poor response or due to any other reason, the Board may cancel a notified centre and allot registered candidates to another preferred centre.
