Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have revised the examination schedule for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts. The recruitment is being conducted under CEN No. 05/2025 for a total of 2,585 vacancies.
As per the official update, the CBT-1 examination will be conducted on 19, 20 and 25 February 2026 at designated exam centres across the country.
Candidates appearing in the examination can also download their exam city intimation slip from the official websites of their respective regional RRBs to check exam city and centre details.

The CBT-1 examination for JE, DMS and CMA posts will be held on the following dates:

RRB JE Exam 2026 Shift Timings
The examination will be conducted in three shifts each day.

RRB has released the exam city intimation slip on 10 February 2026. Candidates can download it using their login credentials from the respective regional RRB website.
