The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered for the Nomination of Union territory Level Nodal Officer in connection with the 8th Pay Commission. The order as issued by the JKGAD reads as:

It is hereby ordered that Administrative Secretary, Finance Department shall be the Union territory Level Nodal Officer for coordinating and liaising with the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, in connection with the implementation of recommendations of the 8th Pay Commission.
By Order of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir.

The Government of India has taken a major procedural step in advancing the 8th Central Pay Commission (8th CPC) by launching its official digital platform, marking the formal commencement of the Commission’s work to review pay structures, allowances, and pensions for central government employees and pensioners.

The website – 8cpc.gov.in– now serves as the central hub for official documentation, engagement tools, notifications, and public consultations related to the Commission’s activities. It reflects a digital-first and participative approach that aims to broaden transparency and inclusivity in the pay revision process.
