Eligible Class 10th / ITI candidates can apply online for RRB Group D 2026 via the official Candidate Login portal at rrbapply.gov.in. The online application process consists of four main parts — New Registration, Online Application Form, Documents Upload, and Application Fee Payment. First-time applicants who have not registered for any Indian Railways CEN in 2025–26 must create a new account before filling the form.

Step 1 – Visit the Official Website Go to https://rrbapply.gov.in and find the RRB Group D Apply Online link from the “Latest Updates” section on the homepage. Before applying, read the official CEN 09/2025 notification PDF carefully to check your eligibility.
Step 2 – Create an Account Click “Create an Account” and enter your mobile number, email ID, and personal details. If you already have an existing RRB account from previous CEN applications (2024/2025), use the same login credentials — do not create a new account.
Step 3 – Log in to Your Account Use the registered email ID and password to log in to your RRB Candidate Login portal at rrbapply.gov.in.
Step 4 – Select Recruitment and Posts Choose CEN 09/2025 – Group D from the available notifications and select your preferred post(s) and examination language.
Step 5 – Fill Personal & Educational Details Fill the online application form carefully by entering personal, academic, and contact details as required. Double-check all information before proceeding.
Step 6 – Upload Documents & Live Photo The portal will capture a live photograph through your webcam or mobile front camera — do not upload a pre-existing photo. Also upload scanned copies of your signature, Class 10 / ITI certificate, and identity proof as per the file size specifications.
Step 7 – Select Exam Cities Choose your preferred exam cities for the CBT from the list of available options provided in the form.
Step 8 – Pay Application Fee Complete the online application fee payment using Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Fee payment is mandatory to complete the application process.

The RRB Group D Live Photo Capturing is a mandatory step during the online application process. Unlike traditional uploads, the application portal will capture a live image directly through your webcam or the front camera of your mobile phone — candidates are not required to upload a pre-existing photograph.

  1. Ensure proper lighting — sit or stand in a well-lit area with your full face clearly visible within the frame.
  2. Wear non-white or dark-coloured clothing for better contrast with the background.
  3. Do not wear caps, masks, glasses, or any face covering during the live photo capture.
  4. Grant camera permission to the browser before starting the live capture step.
  5. Use a stable internet connection — slow connectivity can interrupt the live photo process.
📌 Facing Live Photo Issues? If the camera is not loading or the photo is getting rejected, try switching to a different browser (Chrome or Firefox recommended), clear browser cache, and ensure the webcam / front camera is working and that camera permission is enabled in the browser settings. If using mobile, use Chrome browser for best results.
