Territorial Army TA Result 2026 OUT, Download Selection List PDF

The Territorial Army Recruitment Result 2025-26 has been released by the Territorial Army Group Headquarters, Western Command for Zone-1 and also for Southern Command. This result covers the selection of candidates for three major categories — Soldier General Duty (GD), Tradesmen, and Clerk — across all Infantry Battalions falling under Zone-1 of the Western Command and Southern Command. The result is published in the form of a PDF containing roll numbers of all shortlisted and selected candidates.

Candidates who had participated in the Territorial Army recruitment process — which includes the Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Written Examination, and Medical Examination — can now check their roll number in the official result PDF. Only those roll numbers listed in the result PDF will be considered selected for the respective post and category. All other candidates are advised to look out for future recruitment notifications from Territorial Army.

🗺️ Zone-1 : Territorial Army Western Command Coverage

Zone-1 under the Territorial Army Group Headquarters, Western Command covers Infantry Battalions spread across various states in the western region of India. The result released applies to all Infantry Battalions falling under this zone. Selected candidates will be allotted to their respective battalions based on their category, roll number, and performance in the selection process.

Territorial Army Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The Territorial Army Recruitment 2025-26 was conducted through a multi-stage selection process. Candidates had to qualify in each stage to progress to the next. The selection stages are as follows:

Territorial Army Recruitment 2026 – Post Wise Eligibility

Soldier General Duty (GD)

The Soldier General Duty post required candidates to be between 18 to 42 years of age. The minimum educational qualification was Class 10th (Matric) pass with at least 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. Physical standards — including height, weight, and chest measurements — had to be met as per category-specific norms laid down by the Indian Army.

Tradesmen

For the Tradesman category, candidates were required to have passed Class 10th or Class 8th (depending on the trade applied for) along with the relevant trade qualification or ITI certificate. Age limit was 18 to 42 years. Trades included Cook, Washerman, Barber, Carpenter, Mason, and other technical trades as per battalion requirements.

Clerk

The Clerk category required candidates to have passed Class 12th (Intermediate) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate and at least 50% marks in English. Typing speed and basic computer proficiency were also assessed. Age limit was 18 to 42 years.

⚠️ Important: Candidates whose roll numbers do NOT appear in the result PDF should note that they have not been selected in this recruitment cycle. Mere participation in the recruitment rally does not guarantee selection. Such candidates are encouraged to prepare for the next Territorial Army Recruitment notification and apply again when eligible.
