The SKUAST-Kashmir has released Advertisement Notice No. 05 of 2026 dated 20 April 2026 for recruitment to 23 Non-Teaching posts in different Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) of the University through direct recruitment. The posts include Programme Assistant (Lab. Technician), Programme Assistant (Computer), Farm Manager, Assistant, Stenographer and Driver. Online applications are invited exclusively from Domicile(s) of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
The online application window opens on 25 April 2026 at 10:00 AM and the last date to apply is 15 May 2026 at 11:59 PM. All eligible candidates must apply online at skuastkashmir.ac.in.
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture and Allied Sciences from a recognized University.

Programme Assistant (Computer)
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.

Farm Manager
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture and Allied Sciences from a recognized University.

Assistant
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.

Stenographer Grade-III
12th Class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Professional Efficiency: One dictation test in English at 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes; transcription in 50 minutes on Computer keyboard.

Driver
1. 10th Pass from a recognized Board. 2. Valid “LMV-Trans” driving licence from prescribed Govt. Authority. (Practical skill test to be passed.) Desirable: ITI trade certificate in relevant field / Driving experience in a recognized institution / Motor mechanic experience.

Fill in all personal, educational and category details carefully in the online application form. Information submitted shall be treated as final for determining eligibility – no subsequent claims will be entertained.
Candidates wishing to apply for more than one post must submit separate application forms along with separate fees for each post.
Pay the prescribed application fee online through Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card.
Submit the form and take a printout of the online application for future reference.
In-service candidates must additionally submit/send their application form through proper channel to the Registrar, SKUAST-K, Shalimar, Srinagar – 190025 on or before 25 May 2026.
